LSU Libraries became a federal depository library in 1907, but its collection of Government Documents dates back to 1789. There are multiple government agencies that produce information on all topics: from the Arts and Sciences to the myriad of Health fields, Energy, Agriculture, statistics, and of course Politics. This department provides free access to the public.
